Classification of charging piles

The specific charging speed and duration are determined by the vehicle end, different models of vehicle end demand power, charging speed is also different, generally 30-40 minutes can be fully charged to 80% of the capacity of the battery.

According to the installation method, it is mainly divided into vertical electric vehicle charging piles and wall-mounted electric vehicle charging piles.

  • Floor-mounted (Vertical) charging Station: no need to install against the wall, suitable for outdoor parking spaces;
  • Wall-mounted charging pile: fixed by the wall, suitable for indoor and underground parking spaces.

The charging speed of the electric vehicle depends on whether the power of the electric vehicle and the charging pile are matched, and it is not that the higher the power of the charging pile, the better, because the actual control of the charging power is the BMS system inside the electric vehicle, and the best charging state can only be achieved when the two are matched.

When the power of the charging pile > electric vehicle, the charging speed is the fastest; When the power of the charging pile is < that of an electric vehicle, the higher the power of the charging pile, the faster the charging speed.
