Throughout the charging session, the EVCC continuously monitors the charging status and maintains communication with the SECC to ensure the process proceeds smoothly. The key difference, however, is that DC charging utilizes a method of power transmission involving significantly higher voltages and currents. Once the SECC confirms the request and initiates the session, electrical energy is transmitted directly into the vehicle’s battery via the DC interface. Throughout this process, the EVCC continuously monitors the system and maintains active communication with the SECC to ensure the safety and efficiency of the charging operation. Upon completion of the charging session, the SECC notifies the EVCC to terminate the process, thereby bringing the entire DC charging cycle to a close.
